Bad Breeding To Play Free London Show

Bad Breeding are to play a free entry show at London's Lock Tavern, Chalk Farm Road, Camden on January 31.

Support for the night comes from Claw Marks + The Bodies.

Bad Breeding were one of our most loved here at Little Indie during 2014, and having started making inroads in establishing themselves as a leading force in British music, the Stevenage outfit seem certain to continue on that path in 2015.

Sparking debate with their debut single 'Burn This Flag', the band spent the rest of their year playing one off shows and touring with Eagulls, and comes at you like an out of control express train: powerful, brutal, discordant with tracks the equivalent of a sharp kick in the balls.

Raw East London punk fivesome Claw Marks have toured with The Wytches and Fat White Family. In 2013, shortly after forming, they were tagged the ‘UK’s most exciting new punk band’ by NME. Drummer Dev Black responded (in an interview): "I don’t think the NME have a big enough look into the punk scene for us to fairly accept that statement, it seems completely ridiculous, as we’ve
only played a few shows." Nice refreshing unaffected answer, which shows they weren't too up themselves.

With one track online, a fairly sparse Facebook page and only relatively few gigs under their belt, The Bodies are something still of a little-known entity. Played their first London show in early December, and were also on the bill in Leeds with Bad Breeding and Eagulls - in fact, their maiden live show in September was supporting Eagulls in Cambridge.
