Track Of The Day :: Mozaics - Lights

We have known this trio since...well, since they were mere cubs, and now here they are all big and bright and grown-up with their first official single release - and getting themselves played on Radio 1 (Huw Stephens) to boot.

We introduced them here in September under their new Mozaics moniker, after they had undergone a name change since their 2013 arrival as Panda Cubs, when they first hit Little Indie's ears with the dark pop of 'Rise'.

Released last Friday, 'Lights' sees Mozaics - Christian Silver - vocals / guitar; Rich Oxley - guitar / synths; Matt Lyle - drums - having undergone something of another metamorphosis - aside from having relocated to the island of Jersey from York via London to work on material for their debut EP at the studio of 70s star Gilbert O'Sullivan - to unveil a polished gem of an electro pop production that bounces with effervescent streamlined synths, pounding beat and a catchy chorus.
